Description
Handmade using Hermann Oak vegetable tanned leather and linen thread waxed with local Connecticut beeswax.
I sew all Edla bags in Portland, Maine without the use of a sewing machine. I use a pricking iron to create small holes in the leather and hand stitch the components together. I only use vegetable tanned leather which is processed using natural tannins, like that from tree bark, and takes longer to create. It will naturally develop a patina over time.
